JOE GRANT: 2015 SUMMER HITS

"Picking out a top ten for the summer proved to be a lot harder than I anticipated! These tracks aren't listed in order of preference as I can't really say what I like best. Rather, I'll listen to a particular song or album more based on my mood. I often listen to full albums over and over, rather than just one song.

My wife and I really like Adrian Younge and Robert Glasper so we often listen to their albums when we're together. Talib Kweli's, Train of Thought has an old school feel to it, the type of hip hop I really enjoy.

I over played Alt-J's first album way too much. I find the second album more understated and it took me a little more time to appreciate. I love the Miley Cyrus sample in Hunger of the Pine.

Benjamin Clementine is my favorite artist I discovered this year. His work has a certain tone and aura to it that blows me away with every listen.

J.Cole and Kendrick Lamar's new albums are worth listening to all the way through. I find both incredibly good.

Sizzla - I love reggae music and I'd probably have more reggae tracks in my list usually, but I just haven't had as much of it in the rotation recently.

As for the The Little Dragon and Vince Staples tracks I just find them to be super catchy."
